First of all today blog post is for my english homework and today i am gonna tell you about the sentinel island and some of their people according to the article that i found. So the first thing that i wanted to show is about the people first the Sentinelese people. the setinelese people are problaly the last tribe on the earth that was cut from the civillization that we had today. These people rejects almost every attempts of making contacts even there was this incident that the local fisherman on Andaman island were killed while he was docking at the island then fell asleep.
Also it is believed that there is about 50 till 400 sentinelese. These people have lived isolated about 60.000. So i guess you all wandering, they've lived in isolation till today and survive so the question is, how do they maintain heir needs especially food? Well these people actually eat fish, coconuts, turtle meat, and birds. So let's discuss about the island it self. The island Sentinels located near the Adaman Island and the island are belong to India. Almost all the parts of this island are forest. There is also no photographs of the island in close range but there are these aerial picture showing the sentinel island.
There is also the history about this tiny island. Marco polo the famous explorer passed this area about in late 13 century. He describe that these tribe as the most brutish savage race, having heads, eyes, and teeth like dogs. They also very cruel and will kill and eat every foreigner that came into these island. There is also reports in 1867 an Indian ship wrecked on the beach. 106 people survive and set up a temporary camp. few days after the accident, the camp got attacked by these sentinelese. The crew barely survive the onslaught until the royal navy arrived. The group was terrified.
A hundred years had pass and these tribe hasn't touch, until one day a group of antropologist, a film crew, a national Geographic photographer and a group of armed police made their way to the island hoping to make a friendly contacts by using a variation of gifts. But the odds were less then expected, the crew laid their gifts of dolls, live pigs, pots, pans, coconuts, then the tribesman approach then launch a volley of arrows to the group. The crew made a hasty exit with a dinghy and one director got hurt by those arrows and their gifts ? well the tribesman spearing the dolls and the pig , also burying the gifts on the sand.
But there is one people make a peaceful contacts with these people the name is TN Padit. he created a peaceful contacts in 1991 with the natives for about 20 years, At first he observing the man and woman, children from a safe distances, then finally making and interaction between these people in 1991, even some tribes man climbed on the dinghy and curiously touching almost every thing. Pandit even distributed some coconuts which i the tribes man eagerly look. Until today no one knows about the language they used.
Franklin, your blogpost is quite hard to read. You should divide it into several paragraphs. And maybe emphasize some of the important words, make it bold or something like that. Also please add in some pictures because that is what a blogpost interesting. Could you please fix that?
